Bowditch secret out of the bag

Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton is worried about the prospect of losing Dean Bowditch following the striker's brace in the 4-1 win at Wycombe. Bowditch's precise first-half opener was cancelled out by Matt Harrold's header shortly after the break. But three goals in 13 minutes from Andy Welsh, Owain Tudur Jones and Bowditch ended the Glovers' eight-game losing streak on the road. Skiverton said: "I don't want to big-up Dean too much because you know what it's like in this league, you'll get one of the big boys come and take him away. "But we know the qualities that he does bring, he can go off of people's shoulders and he has got that little change of pace that takes him away from people. "He definitely showed that - he's always a threat and a handful." Skiverton added: "There's a few of our lads who have been talking the talk, the ones that have not been involved. They were given an opportunity (against Wycombe) and I feel that they have taken it. We're a million miles from the finished article, but we're learning every game."
